HR In Milk Alpine Doe

Raylyn Moata Dam: Raylyn Debbie
Sire: Raylyn Errol Moata is a HR Alpine doe currently in milk, she was born September 2013 and was a triplet. She is microchipped and registered with the NZDGBA. The past two seasons she has had triplets and twins with no kidding issues. Good wide set doe, pictures don’t do her justice as she really loves her food (hence the full on munching face in each picture).  These were from December 2018 I will try get more recent ones soon.

She gives 3+ litres when in full milk, I’ve currently got her down to once a day milkings and she gives around 1.5 litres. As long as she has food she can be milked untied.

Herd was last tested CAE negative in 2016

Pedigree Saanen buck and doe kids and yearlings available now!

Mr. Simpson’s story is featured on our Articles page. He is one of the very few goat judges in the South Island. Saanen goats are known for their placid temperament and excellent milk production.

Goats of this quality simply cannot be found on auction sites however hard you look. All goats will be expertly disbudded (horn buds taken out) and tattooed (for identification and registration purposes). They are all HR (the highest purebred status) and will be registered with the NZDGBA. Excellent breeding stock and suitable for showing.

There are too many people who have been discouraged after starting with “cheap goats.” Please don’t invite trouble you don’t need! They may be cheap to start off with, but may cost you far more in the long run both in money and hard work. Even if you pay a little more for a good buck, a healthy well-bred buck that gives you excellent future milkers is well worth it.

Did you know you can buy a quality purebred dairy goat for less than half the price of a purebred puppy? We think it’s crazy but that’s the fact!

Goats are highly intelligent and will become very affectionate toward humans who spend time with them. Buck kids are very capable of serving does at a very young age, so they can be used this coming autumn to service your does.

Prices available on request. A non-refundable deposit will be required on confirmation of order. Genuine enquiries only, please.
