We are the Canterbury Dairy Goat Breeders Association, located in Canterbury, New Zealand. We are the trusted source for dairy goats in the South Island. Please browse  our Goats for Sale page if you are looking to buy a good dairy goat.

We cannot emphasise strongly enough the importance of getting disease-free dairy goats with good conformation from responsible breeders. It will save you a lot of hassles and money in the long run, and we mean A LOT.

A good dairy goat will give you a lot of pleasure for years to come. You will never regret buying a quality goat, but you WILL regret buying a “dud” goat, however cheaply you got it.

Our motto is ‘Promote the Goat‘, and our aim is to encourage the breeding of dairy goats to the highest standard. There are 5 recognised dairy breeds in New Zealand: the Saanen, the Toggenburg, the British Alpine, the Anglo-Nubian, and the Sable.

The goats are highly intelligent and full of personality.
