Our values - We aim to educate the public, promote the dairy goat, help narrow the rural/urban divide. Attract new members. Sell the best and most trustworthy goat. Support and mentor new goat members. Share knowledge, experience, and pool resources. Encouragement to register, classify, show, herd test.

Our purpose is to promote the dairy goat and be the best dairy goat club in New Zealand.

Our History

The Canterbury Dairy Goat Breeders Association was established in 1979 – we are a volunteer-run club with an affiliation to the New Zealand Dairy Goats Breeders Association.

CDGBA is the largest-run dairy goat club in the country with decades worth of combined experience amongst its members. We offer services for all ages, experience levels, needs, and requirements.
